I have been a musician all my life. Whistling to myself as a child, playing the guitar to the radio tunes, rocking heavy in my teens, playing bass, drums, singing, conducting and performing. In the last decade or so I have decided to make music my primary focus. I have studied for a bachelor and a masters degree in composition at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, Israel, and set up my home studio which is fully equipped for high-end recording of live musicians as well as composing “in the box”.
I am interested in collaborations with other artists: film makers, poets, dancers, installation builders and painters. I am passionate about making other people’s music come to life in my studio, taking the idea and realizing it to a fully expressive musical piece that goes out into the world.
As an orchestral composer I take absolute freedom in my work and strive to achieve new sounds that are true to the moment of creation. My compositions vary from the absolute abstract avant-garde of contemporary music, to calm emotional tonal movements. I lean toward messiness, but often find joy in simplicity.
